Limited Capacity seats available

With the adoption of CCSS Math, many educators find themselves overwhelmed with what they believe to be "new math." This workshop is designed to help participants learn how constructing knowledge through the use of math models will lead to a deeper understanding of math concepts for students. Participants will gain both content knowledge and strategies for supporting students in the math classroom. This workshop is geared to look at concepts introduced in grades 3-6, however, these concepts are built in lower grades and retaught in upper grades.
